Abstract

|
Vicarious menstruation represents cyclic bleeding in extragenital organ during a normal menstrual cycle. Such a cyclic bleeding in an extragenital organ may be secondary to the presence of endometrial tissue in that organ. Catamenial hemoptysis is a rare condition as a result of bronchopulmonary endometriosis. A 30-year-old woman with catamenial hemoptysis is reported with a brief review of the literatures.
